Gavin Robertson

Gavin Ron Robertson is a former Australian cricketer. He was a right-handed off-break bowler & a lower-order batsman. Gavin played for NSW & Australia for 15 years, he started the Six & Out Rock Band & The True Sports Show Band, with Mike Whitney, Eric Grothe, Mark Carroll, Richard CheeQuee and Noiseworks legend Steve Balbi. I’m 2004 Gavin’s 2SM TalkinSport radio show began. In 1995 Gavin was dropped from the Australian Squad & then 7 days later dropped from the NSW team ending up at Centrelink 5 weeks later & then hid for 4 months inside Parramatta Park Monday to Friday to be out of sight or questioned as he was unemployable. Gavin turned his life around to create a successful career in Sport & Media & 2 years ago Gavin had to go through a GBM 4 Brain Tuma operation & 7 months of chemotherapy & radiation, his health is coming back and currently helping many young sports people from a mentoring position on routine, health and life
