John Leclair is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. John Leclair played a total of 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with various teams. John Leclair was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1987 after graduating from Bellows Free Academy High Schools. During his playing days with the Canadiens, John Leclair played in the Stanley Cup and won the games in 1993. In 1995 John Leclair was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers along with Eric Desjardins and Gilbert Dionne. With the Philadelphia Flyers, John LeClair scored 50 goals in three consecutive NHL seasons. In 2005, John LeClair signed a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins and had a successful NHL season in 2005-2006.
