Career: Paul Henderson is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. He played as a left winger and played for 13 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Atlanta Flames. He also played in the World Hockey Association with Toronto Toros and Birmingham Bulls. His leadership also led team Canada to victory at the 1972 Summit Series against the Soviet Union. Outside his playing career, he is a motivational speaker, minister, and an author.
Early life: Henderson was born in 1943 in Ontario. He met his wife, Eleanor, in Lucknow at the age of 15 while he was working at a grocery store. He worked as a history and physical education teacher after getting married in 1962.
