About Shaun Goater MBE

Shaun Goater is a former professional footballer and played as a striker for various English clubs. With his eagerness to play the sport, Shaun Goater’s first professional club was Manchester United. Shaun Goater is also best known for spending his time at Man City where he scored over 100 goals between 1998 and 2003. It was a perfect time for him to be part of the city so as to prevent the club from being relegated to the third tier of English Football. The number of supporters grew and they even created a song to honour Shaun Goater: “Feed The Goat And He Will Score”. In 2003, Shaun Goater struck to score the fastest goal by a substitute in the history of Premier League.
