About Lanny McDonald

Larry Mcdonald is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. He played for Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Rockies, and Calgary Flames. During his 16-year career in the sport, Larry Mcdonald was able to play over 1,100 games. In 1973, Larry Mcdonald made his debut in NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Buffalo Sabres. He also played with the Colorado Rockies before playing with the Calgary Flames. Larry Mcdonald was drafted to the Calgary Flames in 1981 where he scored 34 goals in all the games played with the team. As a National Hockey League player, Larry Mcdonald was able to score a remarkable 500 goals in all of the games he played. Larry Mcdonald played as an offensive forward and is also known for his bushy red mustache. Larry Mcdonald also represented Team Canada in international competitions both as a player and as a manager. Being one of the most popular players in Canada, Larry Mcdonald won several awards, such as the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy.
