About Vic Rauter

Vic Rauter is a sportscaster from Canada who works for TSN. Vic Rauter has covered curling games for over 25 years providing play-by-play commentary for the Season of Champions on TSN. This includes covering for Tim Horton Briers, Scotties Tournament of Hearts, and the World Curling Championships. Prior to being part of TSN, Vic Rauter was able to cover Olympic Games as a sportscaster with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Vic Rauter also worked as a news and sports reader with CFTR radio in Toronto. Vic Rauter has spent his professional years in broadcasting and covered sports such as soccer, hockey, baseball, curling, auto racing, and soccer. With his passion for sports, he was also known for his catchphrases like “Make the final…” and Count ‘em up - 1, 2, 3, 4…”
