Yvan Cournoyer

A Montreal Canadiens legend and one of the fastest and strongest skaters the game has ever seen. Yvan "The Roadrunner" Cournoyer was infamous for his speed and constantly blasted past defenseman during a historic career which was highlighted by ten Stanley Cup Championships, second in history only to Henri Richard. In 1982, Cournoyer was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and he has been named one of the 100 greatest NHL players of all time. He was loyal to the Canadiens his entire career and after his retirement, his jersey #12 was been retired by the team, never to be worn again.
