Career: Rick Jeanneret is a television and radio personality from Canada. He is best known as a play-by-play announcer for the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres and the Sabres Hockey Network. He is a graduate of Midwest Broadcasting School, which he called the course as a “crash course” in broadcasting. He lives in Ontario with his wife, Sandra. He also has two sons and a stepdaughter.
Early life: Rick Jeanneret was born in 1942 in Ontario, Canada. He took over the play-by-play of a Niagara Falls Flyers Junior A hockey game for the regular announcer in 1963. He also worked as a color analyst the following season. In addition to these, he also did several radio advertisements for the local Niagara Falls hardware store Buildall.
