Sports commentator, journo and lover of the great outdoors. Mountains are my home and my playground. Ski Sunday contributor for twenty five years. Eurosport for even longer! I got really lucky in 2016 and commentated on the unforgettable Olympic women's hockey final in Rio and Hollie Webb's amazing golden goal. I'm also the BBC's triathlon commentator but, to be perfectly honest, I'm no triathlete! I'm a big tennis fan too and have been fortunate to have covered every Wimbledon since 2001. The BBC's Centre Court commentary box provides the best sporting viewpoint in the world. It's a privilege (and absolutely terrifying!) to be invited inside. I've worked on fifteen Olympic Games and five Commonwealth Games around the world since 1992 and relished every one. I've had the honour of attending two Invictus Games, in Toronto and Sydney and I can't wait for the next installment. As a fairly average but versatile sportsman in my youth, my adult sporting life has been an absolute blast!
