Career: Peter Reid is a retired football player, a pundit, and a team manager. He played as a midfielder during his peak years in the sport. He was also known as one of England’s brightest midfield talents of the time with Bolton Wanderers. He played for Everton in 1982 and helped the club win various competitions including the Football League. In 1985. He was voted as the PFA Players’ Player of the Year which placed Reid to number 4. The footballer also represented his country at the FIFA World Cup in 1986 and the UEFA European Championship in 1988. It was in 1989 that he joined Queens Park Rangers and transferred to Manchester City for a managing career. He managed Sunderland and won promotion to the Premier League on two occasions. Peter Reid also managed Coventry City before working as a pundit for the BBC at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Early life: Reid was born in 1956 in Liverpool, England. During his younger years, he played for Huyton Boys and Bolton Wanderers.
