About Ray Parlour

Career: Ray Parlour is a former football player and spent most of his professional career playing for Arsenal, Middlesbrough, and Hull City. With his solid performances combined with humor and down to earth personality, he was given the nickname, “The Romford Pele”. His popularity rose when he joined Arsenal's European UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1994 and 1995. He is praised by his fans and even described to be an “unsung hero” for his dedication and efficiency in playing football. Ray Parlour also appeared for the England under-21 team on twelve occasions. He also played in a senior team as a substitute in a UEFA Euro 2000 qualifier in 1999. He likewise won ten caps for England. His last cap was during a friendly game against Italy in 2000. Early life: Ray Parlour married his childhood sweetheart, Karen in 1998 and they have three children, Charlotte, Frankie, and Georgina.
